Content reusability for the web and intranetContent that you develop in SupportPoint can also be deployed to your website or corporate intranet using the Content Express API. Global and local synchronized versionsSupportPoint delivers a practical way to maintain global content that can be localized for regional or line-of-business variations. The system automatically notifies content owners at the regional level about changes to the global or “baseline” content. Local content owners can then easily incorporate the updates into their localized content, if appropriate.
Powerful content managementSupportPoint provides professional content-management capabilities, such as centralized content storage, configurable metadata, authoring workflows, revision comparisons, audit trails, usage reporting, and image and document asset management. Multi-language and translation supportThe SupportPoint Multi-Language Module displays content in any language, including those requiring double-byte characters and right-to-left languages. This module significantly reduces the translation effort by “learning” the phrases translated by authors and then applying the translation to subsequent instances, thereby offering significant efficiencies over manual translation.
CollaborationSupportPoint enables continuous improvement of content through multiple collaboration methods. Users can ask questions through SupportPoint as well as add personalized notes to documents.
